All New Buildings To Have An EV Charger Installed

Coming into force on 15th June 2022, new UK regulations state that electric vehicle charge points must be installed at all new buildings.  The Dept. for Transport has announced that any new building developments with associated parking must have access to electric car charge points as we close on the 2030 internal combustion engine ban.

Any buildings undergoing large scale renovation also require the installation of EV charge points, provided they have more than 10 parking spaces. This amend creates the ideal opportunity to future proof a residential or commercial building.
