Take action to keep using the app

Users of the ChargePoint app may have recently received an update from ChargePoint about changes to how drivers can use their app.

From 30 June, the ChargePoint app in Europe will only be available to drivers who are connected through a partner organisation - such as a charge point operator like RAW Charging.

What this means for you

To continue using the ChargePoint app to find, start and pay for charging across all available networks, you’ll need to be connected to a driver programme.

If you’re not connected, you won’t be able to use the app or ChargePoint RFID card after this date.

Stay connected with RAW Rewards

The good news is that you can continue using the ChargePoint app as normal by joining RAW Rewards - our free driver programme.

By signing up, you’ll:

• Keep full access to all networks on the ChargePoint app

• Unlock exclusive RAW Charging discounts

• Get access to special offers across our network

How to join RAW Rewards

1. Sign up to ChargePoint with this link

   • Select “with the app” when asked how you want to charge

   • You’ll be prompted to join RAW Rewards and add your vehicle details

2. Download the ChargePoint app and log in

   • You’ll receive a download link via email or text

3. Start charging using the app (or an RFID card if you’ve ordered one)

Already a member?

If you’ve already joined RAW Rewards within the ChargePoint app, there’s nothing you need to do.

If you previously signed up to RAW Rewards but didn't join on ChargePoint, you’ll still need to complete the connection in the ChargePoint app using the steps above.

Prefer another way to pay?

You can still charge at our stations by tapping a contactless card where available, or using another roaming app.
