RAW Charging renews exclusive EV charging partnership with AA Hotel & Hospitality Services for 2026

Hotels and B&Bs across the UK will continue to benefit from expert support in delivering seamless EV charging for their guests, as AA Hotel & Hospitality Services renews its exclusive partnership for 2026.
Now entering its third year, the partnership sees RAW continue as the EV charging partner for AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, promoting quality charging solutions that help members improve guest satisfaction while advancing their sustainability journeys.
As the number of electric vehicles on the road continues to grow – with more than two million fully electric cars now on UK roads and over a million plug-in hybrids alongside them – reliable destination charging has fast become a key guest amenity. Electric cars accounted for around a quarter of all new registrations in the first half of 2026.

Fresh from being crowned 2026 Destination Charging Network of the Year by driver survey Zapmap, the focus remains on making charging solutions as simple as possible for hoteliers, mapping out the end-to-end guest journey and ensuring the charging experience is as seamless as the stay itself. As part of the partnership, AA inspectors visiting hotels across the AA group will be able to share how the fully funded solutions work for hoteliers and their guests.
The partnership will also see continued support for the AA Hospitality Awards, the most prestigious night in the UK hospitality calendar, taking place on Monday 21 September 2026 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.
Commenting on the renewal, Jason Simpson, CEO of RAW Charging, the leading destination EV charge point provider for hospitality, leisure and retail destinations across the UK said:
"A guest's stay now starts and ends at the chargepoint, not the front desk. Renewing our partnership with AA Hotel & Hospitality Services means we can keep helping members turn charging from an afterthought into a genuine reason guests come back. With more than two million electric cars on the road and counting, the properties that get this right now will be the ones drivers seek out for years to come."
Simon Numphud FIH, Managing Director at AA Media, said:
"The renewal of our partnership with RAW Charging for a third consecutive year is a reflection of the trust and collaboration that sits at the heart of everything we do at AA Hotel & Hospitality Services. Supporting our members to meet the evolving needs of their guests continues to be our priority. We are delighted to continue our work with the team at RAW as sustainability and EV charging becomes an increasingly important consideration for guests when choosing where to stay."
The renewed partnership follows the receipt of the Zapmap Best Network Award for 2026 and ICC Gold accreditation, awarded in late 2025, cementing the business's position as the EV charging partner of choice for the UK's leading leisure, retail and hospitality destinations. The network now operates more than 2,500 charging bays across the UK, working with many of the leading brands in hospitality and leisure including Exclusive Collection, Merlin Entertainments, the National Trust, RHS, Landsec, B&Q and McArthurGlen Designer Outlets.
