Good Energy and RAW Charging join forces on new EV projects

New Good Energy, RAW Charging partnership will support One Point service for businesses

100% renewable power company, Good Energy, is today announcing a new partnership with expert EV installers RAW Charging.

RAW Charging, a Signature Partner of Global technology provider ChargePoint® the world’s largest EV charging network of over 110,000 connected stations, was selected to support Good Energy’s new One Point service after a competitive procurement tender. Features that stood out included the best driver charging experience, patented cable management, feature rich remote control, proven reliable stations with guaranteed operational uptime and 24/7 driver support.

One Point provides businesses with an all-in-one EV charging service, supported by 100% renewable power. RAW Charging’s expertise has already been used on the first pilot project; RAW installed four charge points at the Watergate Bay Hotel, near Newquay, in late 2019. The points use smart load balancing technology, which help level out supply and demand on the local network. Following this successful project, the two companies are now working together to develop a national pipeline of EV charging opportunities.

Joe Wadsworth, Good Energy’s Head of Sales and Partnerships, said: “Our One Point service is designed to bring together the best in the EV supply chain, helping businesses invest in clean transport and cut their carbon emissions. RAW Charging is a natural fit for us; the company has years of experience in delivering gold standard EV projects. We look forward to working with them on new projects to clean up the UK’s transport sector”.

RAW Charging’s recently appointed Sales Director, Martin Hale, previously of ChargePoint said “We are very excited to have been selected by Good Energy and having this opportunity to be working with such a dynamic renewable focused utility. We are finding there are an increasing number of different use cases for electric vehicle charging and to ensure that customers have the right charging infrastructure, we provide an entire suite of scalable EV charging hardware and software solutions for all use cases, ranging from AC slow charging all the way up to DC rapid charging.”
