Posted on Wednesday, May 13, 2026

RAW Charging today announces the launch of a new ultra‑rapid EV charging hub at Bagshot Retail Park (GU19 5DH), a retail park managed by Aberdeen Investments on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council Pension Fund.

Highlights

  • Eight ultra‑rapid EV charging bays installed, delivering up to 300kW, fully charging customer vehicles within a dwell time of 30 minutes to 1.5 hours.

  • Situated just off the A30 London Road and moments from the M3 motorway, Bagshot Shopping Park is ideally positioned for both local shoppers and drivers travelling through the area.

  • The new chargers provide a convenient solution for visitors to the large Waitrose store and PureGym, allowing them to charge their vehicles while they shop.

  • The M3 motorway sees an average of over 250,000 vehicles per day, making Bagshot Shopping Park a prime location for EV charging infrastructure.

  • To celebrate the launch, all drivers can enjoy free charging with RAW Rewards at the new hub from Friday 15 May to Monday 18 May 2026.

Extending RAW’s Rapid Network

The site’s strategic location ensures EV drivers can recharge their vehicles with ease, whether stopping for a quick shop at Waitrose, working out at PureGym, or passing through on longer journeys.

This installation also builds on an established partnership with Aberdeen Investments, with over 130 charging bays installed through the Aberdeen partnership, extending work beyond major retail hubs such as Eastern Avenue Retail Park in Romford and Brotherhood Shopping Park in Peterborough. The collaboration includes delivering ultra‑rapid charging infrastructure across multiple commercial property sites, demonstrating expertise in transforming brownfield land into valuable EV charging assets for large UK landlords.

Enhancing the Driver Experience

The state‑of‑the‑art chargers at Bagshot Retail Park are designed to provide fast, reliable and user‑friendly charging. With contactless payment options and a seamless charging experience, drivers can shop and dine while their vehicles recharge.

RAW is committed to excellence and has been recognised with the prestigious Zapmap Best Destination Network Award for 2026, as well as ICC Gold accreditation, cementing its position as the EV charging partner of choice for the UK’s leading leisure, retail and hospitality destinations.

Jason Simpson, CEO, RAW Charging, said:

“We are thrilled to bring our market‑leading EV charging solutions to Bagshot Shopping Park, and Waitrose customers. This location is perfectly positioned to serve both local shoppers and drivers travelling along the busy M3 corridor. By installing our chargers here, we are not only supporting the transition to electric vehicles but also enhancing the shopping experience for visitors to the park, particularly those visiting the large Waitrose store. This launch is another step forward in our mission to connect amazing places and make EV charging more accessible and convenient for drivers across the UK.”

Michael Clements, Aberdeen Investments, said:

“We are delighted to see our continued partnership with RAW Charging deliver another high‑quality EV charging hub, this time at Bagshot Retail Park.
