Graduate Commercial Associate

RAW Charging is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution. An established name in renewable energy, we are a company with an ethos based on sustainability, and we intend to become the go-to commercial charging infrastructure supplier.

We’re unique in that our founders have over 15 years’ experience in the EV sector, so we appreciate the moving market and the huge growth in demand. Our agnostic strategy means a relationship with the client is the most important aspect of the process, so once we have this, the charging then follows.

RAW is made up of a talented team of EV enthusiasts up and down the country, and we’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us on our journey.

What are we looking for?

We’re on the lookout for an ambitious graduate to join our Special Projects team. We are rapidly growing across the UK and expanding into Europe, and require someone who is enthusiastic, confident, and can apply themselves to the often unique and evolving commercial opportunities that are part of the day-to-day here at RAW! Reporting to the Head of Strategy, this is an exciting opportunity for you to gain knowledge, exposure, and experience in a varied and exciting role that covers large EV infrastructure projects, multi-country opportunities, tender bids and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Special project assistance
  • Bid assistance and writing
  • Special project assistance
  • Reviewing client portfolios
  • Preparing client presentations
  • Preparing client propositions
  • Liaise with clients pre/during/post commercial project terms
  • Drafting/reviewing commercial heads of terms
  • Collect and analyse company and market data e.g. business performance data, location specific data and market forecasts, to improve commercial assumptions and business strategy

The right person for the role will have:

  • Passion to make an impact and contribute to the team environment
  • Experience or degree in matters relating to: Electric vehicles, sustainability, climate change, renewable energy, business & economics, finance
  • Confidence and experience in reviewing & analysing documents
  • Ability to work independently and also closely with other team members
  • Problem-solving ability and strategic thinking
  • Self-driven, able to prioritise numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, results-oriented and solutions-focused attitude
  • Team-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
