Jason Simpson appointed as the CEO of RAW Charging

RAW Charging, one of the UK’s fastest growing public EV charge point operators, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Simpson as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Jason will be taking over from Bruce Galliford, who has decided to step back after successfully founding and growing RAW Charging into a leading player in the UK destination EV charging space.

RAW Charging specialise in investing, installing and operating fully funded destination charging solutions for Hospitality, Leisure and Retail locations working in partnership with commercial property landlords and operators such as National Trust, Greene King, McArthurGlen, Brent Cross, Abrdn, Aviva Investors.

Commenting on his appointment, Jason Simpson said, “I am honoured to join RAW Charging as the new CEO working with Tony, Nick and the rest of the great team. The company has already made remarkable strides in the space, and I am excited to build upon its success as one of the few British companies in this space with highly committed investors who are passionate about making the clean energy transition a reality.”
Jason brings a wealth of expertise to RAW Charging, having held senior leadership positions in the renewable energy and connectivity sectors for over two decades including most recently founding Believ (formerly Liberty Charge) one of the leading charge point operators for on-street residential EV charging. His long-held passion for the space will drive him to lead the company through its next phase of growth working closely with its impressive roster of commercial property owners and operators of go-to destinations.

Bruce Galliford will continue to support RAW Charging during the transition period to ensure a smooth handover. He stated, “It has been a privilege to found and serve as CEO of RAW Charging and witness the tremendous growth of the organisation. I am confident that Jason’s leadership and vision will further accelerate our mission, and I look forward to seeing RAW Charging’s continued success under his guidance.
